Harmony Design and Renovation will prepare a complete set of construction drawings containing floor plans, elevations, sections, “details" and perspective views; that together form a detailed picture of the entire construction project. There are separate pages for each major trade, including a site plan, floor plans, foundation plan, electrical plan, plumbing plan, and framing plan. In general, each drawing is either an elevation, plan, or section view.
Details are drawings of specific elements where the designer wants to provide more detailed information than can be seen in the larger drawings of the entire project. A larger scale may be used. Details are often section drawings of the foundation, exterior walls, windows, stairs, framing, or other construction elements. Where section drawings are cut through is usually indicated on the floor plans with an arrow and letter label matching the elevation drawing.
Perspective (3D) views give you an opportunity to see what the project will look like once it's completed, as if you were standing inside it. Perspective views can be used to demonstrate all aspects of the construction, renovation or design and can be created in a photo realistic manner to demonstrate space and colour in a way that will assist you in visualizing your construction, renovation or update project.

Construction management takes a team approach to the construction and renovation process. The concept joins the owner, construction manager and designer in a team whose objective is to deliver the project with an emphasis on time, budget and constructibility. Our construction managers work closely with our designers and assist with preliminary planning, advise on schedules, budgets and economics of various methods, materials and details during the design phase, arrange for all services and all trade contractors to carry out the work, provide technical services during the extent of the project and co-ordinate inspections and completion of the project.
Our construction management approach ensures that there is less chance of dispute over the cost of changes in design, additions or deletions as the owner is fully integrated into the construction management team. The owners knows exactly how much the projected costs will be and savings realized are passed directly to the owner. This approach differs from more traditional forms of construction in that a Contractor usually offers a "total price" package in which the owner has little input into potential savings and efficiencies. The construction management process provides for the full integration of the design, budget and construction process with the owner to ensure that a completed renovation or construction is delivered on time, on budget and meets the need of the owner.
